Former President Joseph Estrada tonight officially declared his presidential bid amid thousands of his supporters in Tondo, Manila.
"Ako si Joseph Ejercito Estrada at bilang presidente sa 2010 na halalan," he said before a crowd of about 10,000 at Plaza Hernandez, Moriones, Tondo.
Prior his announcement of his candidacy, Estrada introduced the United Opposition coalition's senatorial slate which include Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile, Sen. Jinggoy Estrada, lawyer Aquilino "KoKo" Pimentel III, and businessman Joey de Venecia III.
